Alte Liebe am Meer - Rugen in Dranske

Actually, we don't want to give a star, but unfortunately that doesn't work. The pizzas were hard, very little topping and completely overpriced, a pizza over 20 euros. That should be a birthday surprise, unfortunately we have been very disappointed and will not order again.

First of all, the staff was that friendly. And the food, except for the fries, was good. There were nine of us and were drawn to the notices that they had burgers and pizza. When we sat there and saw the prices we were really fascinated by how much you have to spend on normal food. Pizza and burgers could also be eaten with an extra charge of 3 € "in the house fee" ... That is absolutely not possible. Offering children portions for € 8 and more is also very utopian. And that for 3 potato pancakes. Even three spoons of soup cost € 8. We thought that in a facility with lots of families going in and out, the prices would be appropriate for the food. Very, very unfortunate and absolutely never again.

The selection is sparse and all dishes cost between 15 and 25 euros. Pizza and burger cost 3 euros extra when you are there (??). A normal size pizza costs around 16 euros. The ambience and the quality of the food doesn't do it justice for a long time. Inside it is 0815 modern. For the price you expect something special, either through the quality of the food or through a special location. The restaurant is also in a holiday complex for families - but the children's meals all cost at least 8 euros. Service was OK and there is a great play area for the little ones. Still, it's grossly overpriced.

Food was great! Price-performance ratio is really okay for what you get. The service can still be improved, but it is very friendly.

The food was really great! Unfortunately for the price range, the service is absolutely out of order. There were two of us eating and we wanted to have a relaxing evening. After the starter we asked for a little break between courses. The food came and was even placed while I was still on the toilet. It was accordingly cold. The wine we ordered with the main course came after we'd started eating for a long time. Without apology or anything like that. We paid over € 110 for 2 aperitifs, a starter and two main courses, a bottle of wine and water, so I expect a warm main course and good service. In the end I had to ask for the bill 3 times. Sorry, but without the good food, the visit would have been a failure. When there is so little going on, I expect decent service. What a shame! We didn't feel well.

Amazing food - great steaks and salads. Generous portions! Also recommend the baked goats cheese to start! Friendly staff and good drinks selection - beer, Aperol Spritz, Crémant etc. 5*

A restaurant with style in a resort. If you have an eye for detail, you will immediately notice the lovingly laid tables. This is also reflected in the dishes served. They are delicious, whether the fish soup, the chanterelle pan, the rump steak and not to forget the salmon with tagliatelle in saffron sauce. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I look forward to the next visit.

Here the money is pulled out of your pocket, something like that has never happened to me. We are on the recommendation of the "Burger" in the "Alte Liebe". When we asked about the burgers, we were told: "You can have them, they are only on our" out of the house "menu .. if you want to eat them here, the burger costs 3 € more ... When asked why 3 € each Burger more, we were told "service fee" .... HELLO ??? We are there and drink something ??? So we leave more money than an "out of the house" business anyway ... Honestly, RIP off pure for a relatively mediocre burger ... We are regularly on the corner, with such a business model you can unfortunately only advise everyone to be careful ... The old love will not see us again ...

Unfortunately, we are only now getting to writing a review. We had for the vacation from 06.06. Booked an apartment with half board in the Bakenberge residential complex until June 19, 2020, even if the reviews didn't look so good. "Thanks" to Corona, however, we were only able to get HP from June 12th. enjoy. We were surprised by the prompt call back to our request from the “Alte Liebe” team for our appointment request, and not everyone is so prompt. We were then on June 12th. the first and only for the reopening of the restaurant. The tenant had changed and we were surprised that, also due to the coronavirus, they came up with a well-established “emergency plan”. No buffet, but nice breakfast with everything you need on a tiered stand, rolls and drinks as desired. We then had the whole thing a little bit more detailed and "slimmed down" so that too much leftovers didn't have to be thrown away. That worked out great every day! For dinner in the evening a starter and dessert according to the “house program”, three main courses to choose from: meat or fish or vegetarian, a different selection every day for all courses. All food of the best quality. The takeaway meals also seem to be very good, because there was a constant “distant” operation at the serving next to the exit. The stress with all the Corona requirements could be seen in the staff, so that even the boss was fully involved and was happy to do it! But the whole team is always in a good mood, friendly and quick in all processes. A smal talk was even possible from time to time. Location and other like many other reviews. So everything is really great and the price / performance ratio is absolutely in order - full marks!

We went twice with the whole family (7 people, the youngest 1 year) for dinner in the Alte Liebe at short notice and we are consistently enthusiastic. The service was definitely above average professional and friendly. Reservation from the car ten minutes before the appointment, the table including the baby chair near the playground was already prepared, blankets for the "frostbite" were sufficiently available and were offered to us without asking. Otherwise always friendly and helpful approach. Small mishaps were dealt with inconspicuously and without an evil eye, and additional napkins were offered. And always a friendly word. The food is not a bargain (the prices are on the menu and are therefore no surprises), but each of the many dishes we ordered on the two evenings was something special, also well above average. We are fully convinced that we give the highest rating and look forward to our next visit.

Very! good cuisine, even very good vegetarian dishes, and very nice and courteous service. You won't find anything better here. Perfect for people who like to pay the price for really well-made food, because the price-performance ratio is very good here. We are sorry for those who cannot appreciate that.

We loved it. We sat comfortably outside at the table lovingly decorated with lavender. Food was very good, great children's dishes, very attentive waiters.

Great ambience. Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The fish was ok. My daughter's kid pork schnitzel tasted like fish. An absolute absurdity in this price range ...

Full 5 stars. Family-friendly, delicious, something for every taste and very friendly service. That is how it could be summed up. Now the long version: from breakfast to coffee to dinner you can get everything in the old love in the Rugana holiday village. Breakfast is already prepared upon reservation and you can sit down at the table that has been made. In non-Corona times, this is then presented as a buffet. We didn't miss anything and if we did, the friendly service took care of it. Our little mouse was also able to pass the time in the really great play area. There are enough chairs for children. At € 15 p / p, maybe not the cheapest breakfast, but it was definitely worth it for us. Drinking coffee offers a wide range of options, from cakes to hot drinks and ice cream. The iced coffee and cake were very good. The ice cream was also well received. Dinner can be enjoyed in two ways: 1. Take Away: There is the possibility of different dishes (Take Away menu) such as Pick up burgers, pizza, salads or pasta dishes. We had pizza and burgers and thought both were very good. Prices are around € 10 per dish. 2. A la carte: In the restaurant there is then a different menu with sophisticated (not sophisticated) cuisine. Reservation is an advantage. We had the tapas plate as a starter (not exactly mine, but my wife thought it was good). The main course was the loup de mere and the fish soup (recommendation from the waiter and really excellent and plentiful). There is an extra menu for children with lots of goodies. Our mouse had fried fish with french fries (homemade, no frozen goods). The dessert almost didn't want to fit in, but you can't say no to creme brulee and berry mousse. All in all, it was an all-round success. In total, they came up with a bill of € 100, which is okay in terms of quality and service. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the holiday village.

Great ambience and very attentive service, plus delicious food. The prices are higher, but quite reasonable for what is on the plate. Special requests (vegetarian variant of a main course) were also dealt with in an uncomplicated manner. For the kids there is also a playground and play room with many offers. It was a great evening, absolute recommendation!

Wonderful ambience with very friendly service. However, there is a star deduction for the mushroom-heavy menu and the fact that you can only order children's dishes up to 14 years old, which is a shame for those who are hungry. Otherwise everything was really great ... we would love to come back!

Simply highly recommended. Very, very nice and courteous staff. Children are very welcome even though we didn't have any. Very upscale delicious dishes. Especially the desserts are a feast for the eyes. Very good value for money. We will definitely be back.

After three visits with a greater distance: Pleasant atmosphere in new premises. Very authentic and professional service. A good menu with seasonal touches and very pleasant surprises. The quality was really outstanding on all three visits. We wish you continued success.

Everything was very nice and delicious! Three waiters without exception friendly, warm and accommodating. The lady in the bakery was great too.
